What is your goal?
I want to determine whether this is a known Scenario Editor bug affecting existing scenarios and how to restore the missing Add module (+) controls so I can continue building.
What is the problem & what have you tried?
Problem:
The Scenario Editor canvas loads, but no + icon or “Add module” CTA appears. I cannot add modules to affected scenarios.
Scope (important clarification):
- Existing scenarios do NOT show the + / Add module control
- Duplicating an affected scenario also duplicates the issue
- Brand-new scenarios initialize correctly and DO show the +
This indicates the issue is limited to existing / legacy scenarios rather than the editor globally.
What works (key detail):
If I click Tools in the footer, the module picker opens normally and the + is present. This suggests modules load correctly, but the Scenario Editor canvas for existing scenarios is not binding interactive controls.
What I’ve already tried / ruled out:
- No outage (status page checked)
- Stable internet connection
- Reproduced in Chrome and Firefox
- VPN and browser extensions disabled
- Hard reload / cache cleared
- Scenario duplication (duplicates remain broken)
- Creating new scenarios (new ones work correctly)
Additional note:
The in-app Help / support UI has also rendered blank at times. This feels like a legacy Scenario Editor schema or metadata issue where existing scenarios are loading in a non-interactive or read-only state.
This is a paid account and the issue is fully blocking development on existing scenarios.
Error messages or input/output bundles
No error messages are shown. This appears to be a UI / Scenario Editor state issue rather than a runtime or execution error.
