Scenario ran every 15 minutes even though it was set to "daily"

What are you trying to achieve?

I just finished the course “Expanding my first scenario” from the Make Academy. In the course I set up a flow that was scheduled to run daily. However, when I arrived at my computer today I realised that it had been running all night every 15 minutes.

Maybe it is too early but I can’t see any errors. I am going to attach screenshots for clarity.
Do you see what I am doing wrong here?
Thanks!
Kind regards
Bettina

Welcome to the Make community!

You might need to manually save the scenario after setting the new interval from the scenario editor to push the changes to the server that handles the scheduling.

If you think this is a bug, directly contacting support can often lead to a faster resolution. They have access to your specific account details, scenario and scenario logs, server-side logs, and internal tools and resources, which allows them to investigate more thoroughly than what you have access to.

You can open a new ticket here, or if you are unable to login for some reason, you can create another new free account to access the ticketing system (which is only available to logged-in users). Alternatively, you should be able to send an email to helpdesk@make.com and support@make.com and it should create a ticket. After submitting a new ticket, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with the subject “Ticket Created” in the subject. If you do not receive this, try sending the ticket again.

If you manage to get your issue resolved with support, we’d still love to hear about it! Sharing your solution on the forum can help others facing similar problems.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

Hello Sam
Thank you for the quick response!

What do you mean by “manually save the scenario”?
I saved the scenario by clicking on the disk symbol. Is there another way to save it?

In the history of the scenario there is a log entry called “Scheduling was changed”. This entry only appears recently, not yesterday. Do you need to make sure that this log entry appears after changing scheduling?

thank you!
Bettina

Yes, that’s as manual as it gets.

Yes, after saving the schedule this should appear in the sidebar log.

If it doesn’t the request was not received by the server and it looks like you’ve saved it by clicking on the save icon, but perhaps due to some internet connectivity issues the request was never accepted.
