Send email module with Gmail "invalid_request: Could not determine client ID from request."

Help!

I have an issue with the gmail email sending module. I want to send an email from a custom domain email address associated with a google account.

I have set up the google restricted connection and everything works fine, except when it has to send an email, I got this error: invalid_request: Could not determine client ID from request.

There is this similar issue but it doesn’t tell me how to solve it: Send Email module - invalid_request: "Could not determine client ID from request"

It appears that you are using a Google Workspace account, not a personal account.

Did you try my suggestion in the thread you linked?

Try using the Gmail app, or use a Gmail personal account first to see if this is the issue.

If you need further assistance, please provide the following:

  • Delete the email connection
  • Set it up again, taking screenshots of every step you took to set up the connection to your email.
