Text parser error: Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker

Hi everyone!

Last week I finished my scenario and it was running perfectly fine but today the HTTP module throws a 403 error and the text parser after just returns “JS and disable any ad blockers”.

In short, this scenario is supposed to retrieve a specific email, extract the date, use this date to search for corrections posted by the new york times on that date, simplify it, and email it back to me. It is not something I am actually going to use so I don’t need help with the actual scenario, I am using it as an example of Make’s capabilities for my supervisor. I just need help getting it to give me an actual usable output again.

Any help or insights into these errors would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve run into the same text parser error when JS is disabled—it’s frustrating, especially for a site focused on building and making. While I get the need for some scripts, basic functionality like text input should degrade gracefully. Maybe offering a simplified fallback mode would help creators with limited setups or strong privacy settings still contribute effectively.
