Text Parsing Challenge: Output Bundle Empty

Hello,

I am new to the Make world and have already created some scenarios (email to sheets etc.)

Now I am working on a scenario whereby a blog post from WordPress will be selected and then excerpts posted in Facebook, linked in etc., with the link to the full post. The path is from WP to ChatGPT to Text Parser to FB etc.

I am using a template but for some reason, the output bundle is empty.

I am copying the code given and the text collected by the parser.

Code:

(?=FacebookPost)|(?<=FacebookPost:)[\s\S]*

Text:

Explore the hidden gem of Cambodia with this captivating travelogue on Koh Rong Samloem island! :palm_tree: Dive into the adventures of a Midlife Adventurer as they share their unforgettable trip report, discovering the pristine beaches and tranquil waters of Koh Rong Samloem. From sandy shores to delectable seafood, this article will transport you to a paradise awaiting exploration.

There was another query on the same subject but I could not figure out the solution offered (besides, at the moment I am only concerned about FB).

Any help in figuring out will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

There is no “FacebookPost” in your example text, which is why the pattern involving the text “FacebookPost” can not find any match.

If you need further assistance, please provide the following:

1. Screenshots of module fields and filters

Please share screenshots of relevant module fields and filters in question? It would really help other community members to see what you’re looking at.

You can upload images here using the Upload icon in the text editor:

2. Scenario blueprint

Please export the scenario blueprint file to allow others to view the mappings and settings. At the bottom of the scenario editor, you can click on the three dots to find the Export Blueprint menu item.

(Note: Exporting your scenario will not include private information or keys to your connections)

Uploading it here will look like this:

blueprint.json (12.3 KB)

3. And most importantly, Input/Output bundles

Please provide the input and output bundles of the modules by running the scenario (or get from the scenario History tab), then click the white speech bubble on the top-right of each module and select “Download input/output bundles”.

A.

Save each bundle contents in your text editor as a bundle.txt file, and upload it here into this discussion thread.

Uploading them here will look like this:

module-1-input-bundle.txt (12.3 KB)
module-1-output-bundle.txt (12.3 KB)

B.

If you are unable to upload files on this forum, alternatively you can paste the formatted bundles in this manner:

  • Either add three backticks ``` before and after the code, like this:

    ```
    input/output bundle content goes here
    ```

  • Or use the format code button in the editor:

Providing the input/output bundles will allow others to replicate what is going on in the scenario even if they do not use the external service.

Following these steps will allow others to assist you here. Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you very much for the input. I tried to figure out how to include the Facebook Post tag but didn’t work. I am uploading the files.

This is the template I downloaded from make and didn’t make that many changes.

Thanks a lot again.
blueprint (3).json (53.1 KB)
Bundle_ChatInput.txt (28.7 KB)
Bundle_ChatOutput.txt (1.7 KB)
Bundle_ParserInput.txt (578 Bytes)
Bundle_ParserOutput.txt (12 Bytes)
Bundle_WPOutput.txt (50.7 KB)

Module_FilterFB

The modules.

Module_FilterFB

I don’t think you need a Text Parser there.

Just map the result directly to your Facebook post.

Thank you for the reply.

I did that but got this error: The post is empty. Please enter a message to share. (197, OAuthException)

Origin Facebook Pages

I will recheck my settings.

Thanks so much for the tips.
