Trying to send an email to a new hire's manager

Our onboarding process is roughly thus:

1. New hire accepts offer and is activated in BambooHR
2. Google account is created
3. Jumpcloud account is created
4. Everything else is downstream provisioning

What I am trying to do with Make is begin with Google Workspace Admin watching for a new user as a trigger, then sending that user’s manager an email with some pertinent info and a reminder of that users start date. The start date part is not important, but I cant figure out how to get the manager’s email from GWS or BambooHR to Gmail as a variable.

BambooHR has “Manager”, but not email, although I could probably do some sort of transform using their name to change it into the format of our email addresses. That sounds like work though.

Has anyone else been able to do this?
