When prospecting, timing is key.
That’s why leveraging intent signals will get your outreach campaigns 5x to 10x more positive replies.
On average, account-based cold email campaigns get a 0.5 to 2% reply rate. When using intent signals, your reply rate will jump somewhere between 4 and 10%.
Of course, I am assuming here that you already have a proven product-market fit and that you follow best practices for deliverability infrastructure and copywriting.
At Icypeas, we have developed and fine-tuned a super-powerful automated workflow on Make that generates hundreds of intent-based leads. It looks like this:
Here is the exact strategy we use at Icypeas to generate +40 meetings per week:
We have established a list of 50 top Linkedin content creators that talk about “cold email”.
Everyday, we scrape their latest Linkedin post. They usually post once a day.
An AI analyzes each post to make sure they are about “cold email”. Posts unrelated to “cold email” are discarded.
Then we scrape all likers and commenters to these posts. Usually, we get between 500 and 2000 leads.
An AI analyzes the Linkedin profile of each liker/commenter to make sure they fit with our ICPs. If a profile’s fit score is below 0.7, it is discarded.
We check with our CRM (Hubspot) whether each profile is a new contact or not. Only new contacts remain in our pipeline.
We enrich the remaining leads with emails, using Icypeas.
Leads are pushed to a 3-message campaign on our sequencer (Pipl.ai).
It works wonderfully well!
We observe a 8% reply rate on average, which is HUGE.
This system generates 40 signups on autopilot everyday. I have a meeting with approximately one fifth. (Most of our users prefer the self-service option and don’t feel the need to have a pre-sales meeting)
