Hello, I’m desperately trying to implement this workflow with Copilot, which seems to me to be a basic automation tool.
From an Excel or Google spreadsheet, a new row is created, an email is sent, and a field in that row is updated to “yes” instead of “no.” A reminder email is sent 7 days later when the reminder date in my spreadsheet has passed, and the corresponding row fields are updated accordingly.
After spending two days on this with the AI, it seems the necessary “update row” module isn’t available in the free version, because currently, Make doesn’t know which field to update and changes my column header. In short, is there a solution, or is this a real limitation of Make? Because if all the applications aren’t available for testing, I’ll never buy a Make subscription.
Hello houba_houbi
The honest truth this is not a paid feature problem it’s a setup mistake make.com cannot change your column header it only add and update rows
Hello, but that’s exactly what happened. After several attempts, it’s the top line that make updates.
So what can be done? Is there a tutorial on this?
The IA tell me to map with my field but I have no button “map” like in this screenshot
Yes mate,
1st step ditch the AI. None of them understand Make at all and have no clue how it works. Half the posts on here are people that failed to do something with AI.
2nd step head over here. It has all the information you need.
Maybe, but I’ve already looked for information and tutorials, and I can’t find anything. Or people who have the same problem as me. I’m simply trying to figure out how to update a cell in the correct row of my Excel spreadsheet. Can Make do this? Which module should I use?
I jus try with a goole sheet it maybe work but I can’t find the same for excel ?
Its called Update a Worksheet Row.
ok it the right module I use but impossible to update the right cell for the right row : it update the cell just above
