Using Stencil to Create Carousel PDF Post for LinkedIn

I have an automation set up where it pulls a sentence from a google doc, then grabs a template from Placid and puts the text on the image, then turns into a PDF, then saves the new PDF carousel to google drive.

That all works fine, but I want to replace Placid with Stencil. Has anyone had luck connecting Stencil with Make considering they don’t have an API key?

If so how are you doing it?

Thanks for any advice in this direction.

Welcome to the Make community!

Make doesn’t have a module for this particular Stencil endpoint (Create a Carousel PDF LinkedIn Post)

If the external service has a Developer API Reference/Documentation then you should be able to integrate the endpoints in Make using the app’s universal module (Make an API call) or generic HTTP “Make a request” module.

You can also suggest for it to be made in the Idea exchange. Don’t forget to search for it first, just in case someone already suggested it, so that you don’t end up creating a duplicate.

If you need assistance in setting up the app’s universal module, or the generic HTTP module, please provide additional information about what you have tried with regards to the external service’s Developer API Reference – how you are setting the connection up, a link to the endpoint are you trying to connect to, and what errors you are encountering.

Thanks Samliew, but I see Stencil in the modules with different functions? I’m a bit confused then.

I did reach out to them as well to see how I could connect them and am awaiting a response. In the meantime I’ll look at your suggestions and see if I can figure out. If not, I’ll come back and add to my comment.

Hi,
I’m also looking for a way to use the Stencil module but no luck with getting the API key.
Could you fund a solution?
Best,
Riccardo
