Hi everyone,
I’m currently using the Zoho Mail - Send Email module in Make.com, and I’d like to know if there’s a way to set or update the sender name.
Right now, the only field available is the “From Address” (e.g., abc@gmail.com), but when recipients receive the email, I’d like the sender to appear as “ABC” instead of just showing the email address.
Since the module doesn’t offer a direct option to specify the sender name, I’m wondering if there’s any known workaround or best practice to achieve this?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi @Fion_Leung1 and welcome to the Make Community!
I’m not sure if it’s the same with Zoho Mail, but with the regular email module, you can set the from to be `“Your name” email@email.com` or `<email@email.com>`. In the regular email module you need to look at the advanced settings. The Gmail module is the same.

Hi L, thank you so much for your replying!
I have tried to follow your example to set it as “Your name” email@email.com, however, when I do so, it says value is not a valid email address. And it also does not have advanced settings for Zoho Mail module, so I am guessing it is not possible. thanks though!!
Can you use the Normal email module and configure it so you can send emails as your Zoho account? If the Zoho email module doesn’t do anything special, that might work. You might need to configure your DNS to allow Make to send messages on behalf of your Zoho account, though.
Another option: Make a request to add this feature to Zoho Mail to put it on par with GMail and the Email module.

P.S. Did you try other combinations like “Larry Lam” ``larrylam@kachick.com or other combinations?
