Auto-log out if any tab goes to login screen 😡

What is the problem & what have you tried?

If I click back and accidentally hit the login page, all tabs get logged out, I’d like that to not happen, it’s pretty disruptive.

Especially since I’m force-logged out every day, and trying to go directly to a scenario I’m working on by url, to save 4-ish clicks and navigating the make scenario ui, forces me through login, and doesn’t remove login page from nav history.

Now if I hit ctrl+back to open a new tab into the scenario overview, instead it goes to the login page and logs out all tabs, then if I log back in, other tabs were logged out and go back to the login page, so I have to close all tabs but one then restart.

I’ve never seen anything like it before, and it’s existed for years.

Seems like a simple fix.

To extend your session timeout, go to your organization’s dashboard, click the three-dot menu next to Organization settings in the top-right corner, and select “Set session timeout”.

One important note: if you’re a member of multiple organizations, the lowest timeout setting among them applies to your account.

Noted, but the issue isn’t duration, it’s that accidentally going back to the login screen logs out all tabs, and then those tabs, even once logged back in, go the the login page since they (presumably) had a logged out state, causing a frustrating experience.
