I simply want to answer Emails automatically with Make and ChatGPT. I did it many times and it went all fine. But now I have created a new simple email automation, the emails are answered and also placed in the draft mailbox, but unfortunately not with the corresponding and answering email. what can be the reason for this?
Would be nice if anyone can help me sorting this issue. Must be something easy, I guess.
Steps taken so far
Set up Scenario and run. Everything works perfectly, just it doesn’t show me the corresponding Email in my Draft.

Hi, I ran Create a draft Module by itself in my environment and it created a draft successfully. Of course, I could also check it on Gmail.
You may have already tried this, but please make sure that your Gmail Connections is connected to the correct account, try creating the Connections again, and reconfigure the Folder, Subject and Content of the Create a draft Module. Please try to re-create the Connections again.
Thanks for your feedback. I also get created a a correct draft email. This is working fine, the problem is that in my draft folder shows up only the generated draft-email ready for reply, but it doesn’t show the corresponding email which was answered by OpenAI.
That makes it difficult for me to proof if the generated email is correct.
In the past szenarios I built it was always working perfectly. I didn’t change anything in the setting up of the szenario, so that’s why I post this issue here in the community.
In the screenshot you see how it now looks like, until 27.1 I always have the corresponding email together with the draft. After that only the draft-answer-email.
Would be great if you can help me find a solution for that issue.

Thank you for the details.
I understood that you want to create a draft to reply to a Gmail thread.
I don’t know why it worked in the past, but it seems that you would originally need to specify the thread ID, etc.
However, there is no such configuration item in the Create a draft module, so I think you need to use Gmail’s “Make an API call” Module to specify the parameters.
I found a past post with similar information, so please refer to it. It is possible that this information may be out of date.
Although it is not related to the question, it might be helpful if you could add a Mention so that the respondent will be notified as well!
