I tried to upload from Google drive to Instagram. Saw the message that it doesn’t work. What would be really helpful would be a suggestion right there of what would work!!! Everybody who sees that warning has the same damn question, why do we all have to go on a ridiculous search when guidance could be right there. This is my second infuriating dead end using Make.com.
Welcome to the Make community!
For technical issues or bugs like this, directly contacting support can often lead to a faster resolution. They have access to your specific account details, scenario and scenario logs, server-side logs, and internal tools and resources, which allows them to investigate more thoroughly than what you have access to. Additionally, sharing sensitive information about your account or scenario might not be suitable for an open forum discussion.
You can open a new ticket here, or if you are unable to login for some reason, you can create another new free account to access the ticketing system (which is only available to logged-in users). Alternatively, you should be able to send an email to helpdesk@make.com and support@make.com and it should create a ticket. After submitting a new ticket, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with the subject “Ticket Created” in the subject. If you do not receive this, try sending the ticket again.
If you manage to get your issue resolved with support, we’d still love to hear about it! Sharing your solution on the forum can help others facing similar problems.
Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

It’s not a bug. If you look at the Instagram module it tells you that you can’t upload from Google drive. I just think that’s a brick wall for many people following examples. I think the message there should take you to a simple work around. I figured out I could use my Google Cloud storage. So since I have everything in a Google sheet I left it working such that I gen an image and then save it to Google drive. I create content and post content with separate work flows. So there can be a gap of days between and gen’d images on OpenAI only last an hour or so. So I leave them on Gdrive and then when posting occurs I upload to Google Cloud, then I get it to pass the url to Instagram. -Generally a bag on a box. Wasted time and operations every time.
