Connect Wix site to make, NOT a custom app

I want to connect my wix site to make.com but apparently Make only supports connections to custom apps on wix??

I want to connect my wix site to make.com but apparently Make only supports connections to custom apps on wix?? When i try to connect with my API key and the site ID, a pop up is executed that asks me to select my website and then when I do it says Wix cannot find an app with this ID. I think it is because i am using a regular wix site, not a custom app.

I have tried connecting my wix app via the wix module on make using the site ID and API key.

The Wix app expects you to connect Make.com to an app, not directly to a website. When you paste the API key and site ID, Wix looks for an installed app that matches that key and ID. If there is no such app, the connection fails.

So here’s what you need to do:

  1. Create a private app in Wix.

  2. Configure it, install it on your site, and generate the API key.

  3. In Make.com, open the Wix module and use the App ID and API key from that app.

  4. Select or confirm the website where you installed that specific app.

Once Wix sees a valid installed app that matches the App ID and API key, the Make.com connection should work.

Perhaps you can tell us what you are trying to ultimately do instead of just connecting Wix site to Make, which may or may not be the best way to implement and achieve the desired result? This way, you can get more useful advice.
