Connecting another recordID from Airtable to make leading to single action in scenario

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a new scenario from an Airtable database. I’ve started the scenario with Airtable and linked it to my Airtable record ID.

The first action are linked to a specific record ID that is linked to one table named “Stories” and the airtable automation linked to it.

I want to create another action that is linked to another table which is called “Scene” but when I try to create an Airtable “Get a record” on make, there is only the record ID linked to Stories that show even though I have selected “Scenes” in “Table” and the automation on Airtable has also been made for that second action.

I do not know how to manage to get the right record ID even though I have its number on Airtable.

Can anyone help?

p.s. this is an older forum that never found a solution due to op inactivity

Hello @Vladimir;

Do you want to use an ID from a prior branch above?

If so, then use Set Variable to save it. Then in the branch below, use Get Variable to recover it for later use.

Hey @ImMichaelCannon,
It’s not that I can’t get that previously used variable (in this case the variable is an action called generateSceneVideo), it’s that the variable isn’t showing up at all :frowning:

Hi @Vladimir, please share a video demonstrating the problem. I require more context to help further.
