I have read the last 3 days all how to-s and relative connection information but couldn’t find any solution.
When I try to connect to my imap server I with the correct credentials I get the error: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND mydomain.com (where mydomain is my own domain where the imap server is located). I have tried every possible domain address i.e. imap.mydomain.com or www.mydomain.com etc. The imap server is with TLS encryption.
Does anybody know how to resolve it?

You’ll have to speak with your email hosting provider for the connection details as we don’t have the domain or credentials to test the connection for you.

I followed your advice and got it worked.

The solution was simple.
I got the imap server address correctly written from my provider and the problem was resolved.
