Create Folders at Root Level of Dropbox Teams Account

Using Make’s Dropbox modules, my customer is trying to create a folder at the ROOT LEVEL of their Dropbox drive.

However, my customer is unable to do this with Make’s Dropbox modules because my customer has a TEAMS ACCOUNT with Dropbox (as opposed to a personal account with Dropbox).

It turns out that Dropbox has a completely different set of endpoints for individual/personal accounts vs. business/teams accounts.

While MOST of the endpoints are the same between these 2 different types of accounts, there are a handful of endpoints that are completely different.

So it seems like Make FULLY supports individual/personal accounts, but only PARTIALLY supports business/teams accounts.

Here is some additional information from the Dropbox website at these links:

Currently, these are the missing features that my customer cannot get with Make:

  • Connecting Make to their Dropbox “team space”.
  • Creating folders at the ROOT LEVEL of their Dropbox teams drive.
  • Copying folders to the ROOT LEVEL of their Dropbox teams drive.
  • Deleting folders at the ROOT LEVEL of their Dropbox teams drive.

They can do all of these tasks at DEEPER LEVELS of their Dropbox drive, but they cannot do these tasks at the ROOT LEVEL of their Dropbox teams drive.

Is it possible for Make to update its Dropbox modules to fully support business/teams accounts? Or is there some other workaround for this in Make?

In the meantime, if there is no workaround, I’ve added this to the idea exchange here.

Thank you!
