[Custom App] New version not published after review – clients affected

:bullseye: What is your goal?

We are reaching out because we recently updated our custom app on Make and now we have two versions

 What is the problem & what have you tried?

Hi Make community,

We are the technical team at Quipu (an invoicing app for small businesses and freelancers). We are reaching out because we recently updated our custom app on Make and now we have two versions:

  • :white_check_mark: A new version that works correctly (reflects our latest API changes) but is not verified — it seems only accessible internally or via invitation. But we received and approval of te review process from Make.
And says “Please note that you can install apps only in the organization in which you have the Admin, Owner or the App Developer role.”

  • :cross_mark: An older “verified” version that is not working properly due to the API changes we made — and this is the one our clients currently have access to. And is the one that says “verified”.

At the same time, we can see in the Review tab says more information needed but is not asking for anything else and at the top of the page shows it as “approved”. This is a bit confusing for us.

Our questions:

  1. What do we need to do to get the new (working) version approved and available to our clients?
  2. Is there anything pending on our end for the review process?

Any guidance from the community or the Make team would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance! :folded_hands:

— Quipu Tech Team

Hi there, Levs from the Apps DX Team here.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

We are aware of the “Failed to load package ‘quipu@1’” error occurring during scenario initialization. Our engineering team is currently investigating this as a known issue. We have successfully resolved similar package loading discrepancies in the past and are working to apply a fix for the public version of the Quipu app as quickly as possible.

We’ll keep you posted on the progress here. Thanks for your patience!
