Does anyone use Make for their ecom brands, and automation of social media?

Hi guys,

Currently working through the Academy courses, and with each new module completed, I’m getting more and more ideas of how I can use Make to my advantage within the ecommerce world.

I wanted to open a conversation with like minded people, and to exchange some ideas of how you use Make to automate your Etsy, Shopify, website etc. stores and your social media content.

Currently I’m automating from my Etsy store RSS feed, and posting to Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter/X and Instagram, to highlight new products.

It’s great, but I will be working on making it better. Currently it’s a generic type template, that punches out almost identical content every day.

I will be working on making the content more diverse and entertaining, but I don’t want to spend endless hours creating myself, and would much rather have this process, somewhat take care of itself. RE: automated product descriptions and titles, hashtags, media (videos/photos/reels/stories).

I feel this will be a long work in progress, but would love to get your insights and to even collaborate on a few ideas or scenario automations.

Cheers. Look forward to hearing from you legends!

Best regards,
Joel

Hello All,

Same boat! Just figured out how to get my Etsy orders onto a google sheet, working on when I add tracking to the order sheet, for make to fulfill the Etsy order automatically, sending tracking and a custom note to the customer with their name, what they ordered, the tracking number and carrier name. Almost there… I have a Shopify store too I’ll do the same with and think it’ll be easy once Etsy is figured out.

I’m also half way through programming a faq/support bot using Voiceflow, if curious do check it out. It’s free for 2M tokens per month. Works with gpt3.5 turbo which for me is more than good enough, paid plans you can use gpt4.0 (the newest, forget the exact name).

Forwarding Etsy messages via the auto responder to Shopify where they can interact with the chat bot, if the chat bot can’t answer, sends an email to my supplier.

I wish Etsy allowed chat access in their api, don’t think it will ever happen though.

Next steps are building social media bots, would love to collaborate as well! Jack Robert’s Skool community has been very helpful with all things make btw.

Best,
Sean
