Hello!
I’ve found two other topics in the forum about this issue, but they don’t clarify my question.
I’m trying to create a Bubble connection and followed the documentation provided on Make’s documentation here.
I get the error as the previous topics have reported:
I know Bubbles Data API well and it reports this error when a request tries to fetch data from an non existing type, in this case “mytable”.
There’s no option to set what Bubble type to fetch the data from at the moment you create a new Bubble connection. So I guess this “mytable” is hardcoded in Make?
Hence the question I couldn’t get the answer in those topics: Does Make require there is a type named “mytable” in Bubble so to create a Bubble connection?
Cheers!

Hi @mauromutua,
Only the developer of the Bubble app in Make can answer that question truthfully, which in this case is Make themselves. From the other topics I can find, Make is not aware of issues. But you as skilled Bubble Data API user could point them in the right direction.
This seems like a technical issue. Could you create a ticket with the technical support team for that? https://www.make.com/en/ticket.
Please do let us know what they answer and if/how you were able to solve it.
Cheers,
Henk

So support confirmed it is required to have a “mytable” data type previously created in Bubble so to create a connection.
Unfortunately this is a blocker in my case, as Make was to be integrated to an existing Bubble application and it’s weird to ask my client to create a random “mytable” in their production environment.
I asked support about how to file a feature request so the Make connector allows specifying which Bubble data type to point to, instead of forcing the creation of tis “mytable”.
