Duplicate Links on Facebook Posts

Sorry if this has already been covered, I did search but could not find anything…

I have a scenario that posts to FB with and image. it is all working great, except it is adding duplicate link in the caption.

One in a square bracket and one in normal brackets.

Can anyone please let me know why this is happening and how I can prevent it from happening in future.

That’s not a duplicate link. It’s basically how it is done in Markdown, which is not supported.

Just amend your AI prompt to tell it NOT to use Markdown.

I am just openai to create the post caption and have the url hard coded in there… do i need to change this prompt.
