I was on a call with a Make Partner (awesome service BTW) and he walked me almost all the way through making a flow to update the status of a ClickUp task when someone books an appointment on Acuity Scheduling. We got hung up on how to get the module “Edit Task” to actually recognize the status we were giving it. We tried the status name we wanted (“Interview Scheduled”) in various capitalization combos, and even tried getting the status code from the “Get Task” module and putting that in. Still got error “that status doesn’t exist.” Any ideas welcome!
Did you figure this out by any chance?
I don’t think I ever did. I’ve moved away from using statuses for a lot of things and toward using custom fields, for reasons outlined by this ClickUp expert. Custom fields are definitely easier to map and edit with their IDs, Which are exposed in the make modules under Custom Fields (original)
