ETSY Automation und Social Media Automation

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for help building two automations and would really appreciate any experience or practical input.

Automation 1 – Auto-create Etsy Listings

I run a print-on-demand shop on Etsy (t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, etc.). My intended workflow:

  • My input: finished design + product type + price

  • The automation should: create the full Etsy listing including title, tags and description with proper SEO

Key question: Is it possible to pull SEO data (keywords, tags) live – for example via the Etsy API or tools like Alura or Marmalead – instead of relying on a manually maintained Excel or Sheets table? Or is a static keyword table basically unavoidable in practice?

Automation 2 – Daily Social Media Content

I post regularly around the topics of nature, plant medicine and spirituality. The goal: one post gets created and published automatically every day.

My idea: I maintain a Google Sheet with topics, keywords or short ideas. Everything else – copy, image prompt, formatting, publishing – happens automatically.

Is this realistically buildable with Make.com or n8n? Has anyone here built something similar or can recommend a freelancer for this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello @Patrick_Schalk , welcome to make.com community, I have worked and have experience with Make.com and l will love to collaborate with you on this you can schedule a call Here and you can checkout my upwork profile Here, for my pastworks and certifications

Hey @Patrick_Schalk , Yes, both workflows are realistic and I’d build them in Make or n8n depending on how much control and scaling you want. For Etsy, listing creation via API is straightforward, but live SEO keyword extraction is usually the limiting factor since Etsy’s API does not give strong keyword research data the way Marmalead or Alura do; in practice, the best setup is a hybrid approach where static keyword pools are maintained and refreshed automatically from available sources when possible. I’d structure it so your design input triggers AI-generated titles, tags, and descriptions, then maps everything directly into Etsy listing fields with approval logic if needed. For the social workflow, Google Sheets can absolutely be the content source, with OpenAI handling caption generation, image prompts, and formatting, then Make/n8n publishing daily through the relevant platform APIs or schedulers. I’ve built similar end-to-end automations with Sheets, AI, publishing APIs, and webhook-based approval layers, so the key is setting it up in a way that stays stable and easy to manage. If you want, send me the platforms you want to publish to and whether you already have Etsy API access, and I can outline the exact build. Feel free to book a meeting with me here to discuss this further.

Hi @Patrick_Schalk I have connected with Etsy and created live listings and also created several content automations to generate topics.

Hallo @Patrick_Schalk,

In english-
The workflows that you mentioned are doable with nuances.

As you said Etsy API does’t expose any keyword data so you manually upload that in the sheets so that AI agents can create the title, tags and description.

The second workflow you mentioned is entirely possible but which platform you want to post content to?

run an automation studio called Automation Jinn where we help companies automate their processes and increase efficiency. I am Make advanced certified, Airtable Certified builder with a background in computer science so quite comfortable in integrating API and custom code. I have experience working with both SMB’s and large enterprises.

Have sent my email in the direct message. Talk soon!

I specialize in automating workflows using Make.com and n8n. Both of your automation requests are feasible. For Etsy Listings, we can pull live SEO data from tools like Alura or Marmalead via API to create optimized listings. For Social Media Content, I can automate posting from Google Sheets, generating content, and publishing it daily.

Hi! Welcom!

I’ve built “Content Factories” that do exactly what you’re looking for—moving from a simple idea in a Google Sheet to a fully formatted, SEO-optimized post or listing without you touching a button.

Here is how we can handle your two projects:

1. Etsy SEO & Listings

You don’t need a static Excel sheet. We can use n8n or Make to pull live data. While Alura/Marmalead are “closed” systems, we can scrape top-performing Etsy listings in your niche or use the Etsy API to see what’s trending right now. I then feed that live data into an LLM (like GPT-4) to write your titles and tags so they actually rank.

2. Daily Social Media (Nature/Spirituality)

This is very realistic. I’ve built systems where you just drop a “Topic” into a Google Sheet, and the automation:

  • Generates a high-quality image prompt.

  • Creates the copy in your specific voice.

  • Publishes it directly to your socials.

It saves hours of manual work every week.

Why work with me?

I’m an automation specialist and developer (JS/Python). I don’t just “link nodes”—I build systems that handle errors and don’t crash. I’ve built similar lead-gen and content systems for real estate and fintech clients, so I know how to make them reliable.

Patrick, yes, both workflows are buildable, but I would keep the public-facing steps behind approval first.

For Etsy listings, Make can take your finished design, product type, price, and product data and turn that into a draft listing flow. The practical limit is keyword research: Etsy’s normal API does not give the same keyword-research data you would expect from tools like Alura or Marmalead, so I would usually start with a maintained keyword pool or export, then refresh it on a schedule if the external tool gives you a usable source. I would not publish straight to Etsy on the first pass; I would create drafts, check the title/tags/description, and keep production-partner/disclosure choices manual or explicitly confirmed.

For daily social content, a Google Sheet source works well: topic row → caption/image prompt → approval field → scheduled post. Auto-publishing is possible on some platforms, but an approval column is safer until the tone and image prompts are stable.

TinyOps Studio can map the first workflow as a fixed $149 audit before a build quote. If written contact is easier, email support@tinyopsstudio.com. Deutsch per E-Mail ist auch ok.
