I am working to scenario if weekly import of a large excel file (10K records) and dropping it into Airtable. When I am live, this would mean every time this import is done, I will go thru minimum 10k of operations. Gets relatively expensive if we are to scale this up.
You can use the airtable bulk create modules. It only supports 10 records per run but will save you 9k operations in this case. If you are not manipulating or linking the data which is why I would use MAKE, there might be other tools that can support this better.
But atleast the bulk create will save you 90% of those operations.
From 10k to 1k for creating the records
