Get a tweet from X

Is it still possible to get tweets from twitter from a person of interest and save them in a google sheet? I am confused about the use of the TwitterAPI on Make, hearing that this is not possible. Thank you!

Welcome to the Make community!

You can find third-party Twitter APIs on RapidAPI. It’s easier than maintaining and paying for your own Twitter subscription.

How to call an API on RapidAPI

Use the HTTP “Make an API Key Auth Request” module.

Create a new keychain connection and insert your RapidAPI API Key.

Key: <YOUR_RAPIDAPI_KEY>
API Key parameter name: X-RapidAPI-Key

You can reuse this RapidAPI keychain for all API calls to RapidAPI – you’ll just need to change the X-RapidAPI-Host value based on the API you are calling.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

Thank you very much @samliew,
calling an API endpoint with the http request module works perfectly fine. Now I have issues with parsing (?) the JSON I get from twitter. I want to save the tweets in a google sheets for this reason I connected the https request module with an Iterator, thinking that I get an array of tweets which I need to iterate over. The screenshot shows the JSON in full length until the specific key which is “full_text”. When running the iterator module I am called to add an item after the “instructions” key. Here I am lost.
If you’ll find time it would be great if you could help me again. Best

No problem, really glad I could help!
