Gmail's Watch Emails module skips some emails

I have a scenario which watches for the emails for the previous day (24h) and creates a report. I have an instant where I did not get all the emails for the previous day, so lets say if I actually received 93 emails, the report would be based on 59 emails (its completely random).

The module is Gmail’s watch emails. I’m using the right query (I can confirm this because using the same query in gmail gives me right number of emails). Also this only happened once since I activated the scenario last week, but I’m suspecting it can happen again, and these reports are very crucial for my company there’s no room for error.

I just want to know what could be the reason here? a large sample set? (first time crossed 70+ emails in a day)

This is indeed a well-known problem that I am also aware of. The only thing you can do here is check your “Gmail - Watch Emails”-module on potential mistakes. For example, do all your emails come into the same folder that is watched? Is your criteria-field set to ‘All emails’? And are the maximum number of returned results set correctly? A note that Make sets with it is to not set it too high, as it can cause interruption with the connection that is hold with Gmail.

I used to solved this problem by letting the scenario run more frequently, with a lower limit of returned results.
