Google Calendar event to triget change in Notion database item

Hi! I am trying to find a way to edit my Notion database entry based on the google calendar event.
The logic is like this. I have 2 step Lead gen process.
Step 1. Facebook form
Step 2. Calendly meeting booked

There are drop-offs in the step1. and I would like to automate so that those who fail to book the meeting, get automated outreach.

The best way how this could be done I could think of is:

  1. Check for a trigger when the new Google calendar entry is created and read the attendee’s email address.
  2. Search for the notion DB for an item with a similar email address.
  3. If similar email address is found, the edit other parameter for the same item (i.e. change status from incoming lead to meeting booked)

Can and if yes, how this could be automated with Make?

To get helpful responses

  • explain your goal with as much context as possible

Include screenshots of

  • your scenario setup (functions, mappings, variables, etc.)
  • module configurations and outputs
  • any error messages you are getting

Welcome to the Make community!

What goes on in-between step 1 & 2? I think some details were left out.

Yes, that is possible. You’ll need a minimum of three modules as you described:

You’ll need to insert the appropriate filters between the modules

Give it a go and let us know if you have any issues!
