Google Docs: Create a document from a template - insert images

Hello makers, I’m using the Google Docs’ “create a document from a template”-module.

  1. The template includes a random placeholder image that I’m replacing.
  2. In the module’s Image URLs field I’m entering a URL to a *.jpg/png file, those have different sizes and aspect rates.
  3. The resulting output is often cropped/cut off, it appears this is because the aspect ratio of the static placeholder doesn’t match the variables sizes of the image to be inserted.

Any suggestions of how to avoid this problem?

Also if the image URL happens to be empty, how could I avoid the module to fail? I tried {{ifempty(2.LOGO; ignore)}} to no avail.
