Google My Business post an Image

Hi,
I want to upload an image from google drive to google my business. I keep getting this error.

There are a bunch of images in the GD folder and I randomly select one of them.

It outputs a file id and I aim to download this from GD.

But which link do I select for the Google My Business Media URL field?

Hi @Jamie_L_Huillier ,

In your browser, in an incognito window, try to access each of the URLs to see. You will be able to see what the link points to and determine which is the correct one. It will tell you the type of the image (JPG, PNG, something else) and whether it’s accessible by Make. If the link is not accessible, the process will fail.

Thanks. I tried this. There is a URL that opens an image, it still doesn’t work.

In the GMB page it says:

  • Format: JPG or PNG.
  • Size: Between 10 KB and 5 MB.
  • Recommended resolution: 720 px tall, 720 px wide.
  • Minimum resolution: 250 px tall, 250 px wide.

Does your image match all those criteria?

Can you post a screenshot of your GMB configuration?

Can you test it by putting the image on a website instead of your Google Drive and passing that URL to the GMB module?

Aside from that, I can’t provide any extra help. I don’t have a GMB profile set up to test, but maybe someone else already does and can help out.

Instead of “Download a file”, may I suggest using “Get a share link” module?
