Google Sheets to Facebook: scenario not completing

Hi,

My scenario doesn’t run from Google Sheets to Facebook. It looks like the text filter blocks it. Which text operator should I choose to match the exact text in the Google Sheet cell?

Or should I be using a different module? Any suggestions?

Update: The filters are currently it is set on Text Operators: Equal to/Not equal to(case insensitive). It still won’t pass the filters.

Hey @educate_globally,
Did you try to add in quotes the values in the filters? like this: “YES”?

Thanks

It didn’t work. Thanks for the suggestion though Dimitris. Any others?

Hey @educate_globally,

Just performed a test on my scenario. Please cancel the quotes, and also leave empty the options “Value render option” and “Date and time render option”. For me, it worked.

If this doesn’t work, please do the following test:
Create a new raw in your Sheet and give in those filtered columns the value “test”, add this value in your filter to clarify if this will work.

Please let me know if it worked, really curious about it.

Thanks

That worked! But now it won’t stop sending blank rows through to the next module in the scenario.

Is there a filter I should use to prevent that?

Does anyone have an idea if and how I should change my filters, to prevent the scenario from continuing when YES is not in a row in the Z column?

I need something to prevent the Facebook page from posting blank posts. Maybe another filter?

@educate_globally , did you try to add the filter ‘X raw’ EXISTS? That could work.

However, I would suggest you think about an actual database system with low cost for your Gsheets data. The reason I mention this is that Gsheets are great but not the best option when you want to use them as a database. Airtable is the best option for switching

Happy to discuss more about pros and cons of this movement
Thanks
