GPT 3.5 writing tone - is anyone else having problems?

Hi everyone,

I’m new to make.com but have been using ChatGPT for some time. Normally I prompt it to write in a particular style: highly engaging, conversational, and casual. This usually works without any issue.

Now with Make.com, my scenario works perfectly and outputs everything I need. However, it seems to be ignoring my tone prompts and just continues to write in the same default style. No matter how I ask it to change its tone, it doesn’t change. I’m repeating the tone prompts in every module and it doesn’t seem to make any difference.

Yet, if I take the same exact prompt over to ChatGPT 3.5, it works fine. I’m outputting to Wordpress, if that makes any difference.

Is anyone else having a similar issue, or is there a specific way to prompt for writing style when using Make.com?

Welcome to the Make community!

I am able to use the system inputs to change the GPT output. Perhaps it might be a misconfiguration on your module.

Could you please share screenshots of the module fields and/or filters in question? It would really help other community members to see what you’re looking at.

You can also export the blueprint file to allow others to replicate the issue. At the bottom of the scenario editor, you can click on the three dots to find the Export Blueprint menu item.
