I just can’t figure it out - everything I try to do is more complex and complicated than I would have done if I hadn’t tried to integrate the AI AGENT..
Currently - very disappointing on the subject of this feature.
Has anyone managed to produce something worth showing off?
It’s often a question of using the right tool for the job. Not every automation problem is best solved by an AI Agent.
It’s great in two main areas (both of which are hard or near impossible to do otherwise):
- If you need a conversational chatbot that can hold a dialog, listening and responding through an external communication channel like Slack or Teams, or a web-based chat interface
- If you have a problem that’s easy to describe but hard to implement, like finding free space on a diary from Google Calendar with constraints (like length, gap from other meetings, etc.)
Where any AI Agent is not so good is with things that could be implemented sequentially. The classic Make experience will usually be:
- More reliable (you know exactly what outcome you’ll get given the inputs)
- Faster
- Cheaper
What were the use-cases you were looking at?
