Help fixing this error: [404] No route was found matching the URL and request method. (error code: rest_no_route)

G’day All . I trust everyone is well
I’m new to Make.com and am trying to create a connection with my wordpress site
i’ve loaded all the appropraite kets etc, but get the following error in the “author” field of the wordpress module:

[404] No route was found matching the URL and request method. (error code: rest_no_route).

Hoping someone can help me figure this one out

Having asked ChatGPT for ideas … I’ve checked:
https://yourdomain.com/wp-json/wp/
https://yourdomain.com/wp-json/wp/v2/
https://yourdomain.com/wp-json/wp/v2/users

and all return appropriate values … according to chatgpt

Any thoughts greatly appreciated

Hello @IanL, welcome to the make community, you should check the wordpress connection and reconnect it , please mark as solution if this helps

Gday … Did you just tell me to switch it off and on again … i’ve deleted the module, deleted the connection and reconnected a couple of times … even regenerating new keys … also, when i have created the connection … in the connections tab when i click ‘verify’, it returns as a green tick

G’day again … yes, I had followed all those steps … weirdly however … when i actually just ran the module (even with that ‘author error’) it ran the process and posted to my WP site. Sooooo … it works … but not sure what (if anything) the author issue will cause moving forward
