Hi All,

This seems to be a relatively common problem, as I’ve seen a good few threads on it. But I’ve tried everything that’s been recommended (from the threads I’ve seen) but with no success.

I have a brand new wordpress install. Nothing but ‘Hello World’ here

I’ve checked the endpoint url and it’s responding at https://www.getbetteratstuff.com/wp-json/wp/v2/posts

I’ve installed and activated the make connector from the plugin repository (and it’s the only plugin activated)

I’ve tried to set up a wordpress connection in a very basic scenario, and I’m getting that error for Type, Categories, Tags and Author fields. The “Type” is a required field, so I can’t go any further until I get this sorted.

I’ve searched these forums, used AI to try and help me through it, but I’m going nowhere and feeling like a complete thick.

Unfortunately I’m not very code savvy, and as soon as a problem like this arises, I get stumped very quickly.

Hello,

You are getting a 404 error.

99% likely - the connection is not set up correctly.

I’m not a WordPress guy so I won’t be able to help you with debugging on wordpress side, but take a look and add the connection one more time, being careful to follow the Make guide - WordPress - Apps Documentation

If error will still occur- please attach screenshot of module’s config- also top part hidden on your ss.

I followed the Apps Documentation to the letter.

The connection is established and verified (the drop downs for Status, Format etc. are populated and connected).

Appreciate the response and the help.
