Help with Posting to My Facebook Group via My Facebook Page

What are you trying to achieve?

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m new to using Make.com and I’m working on setting up automation to post content to my Facebook group via my Facebook page.

I own a Facebook group and I want to post to it automatically using Make.com, with the posts being published through my Facebook page. However, I’m having trouble integrating the accounts and setting up the automation correctly.

Can anyone guide me through the right steps to achieve this? Are there specific tools or modules that need to be enabled in Make.com to ensure the posts are made through my page seamlessly?

I’d really appreciate any help or tips you can offer.

Thank you so much, everyone!

Hello,
Follow this simple steps
Step 1: Connect your Facebook Page

  1. Go to Connections in Make.com.

  2. Add a new Facebook Pages connection and log in with the Facebook account that manages your page.

  3. When Facebook asks for permissions, make sure you give access to both your Page and the Group you plan to post to.

  4. Save the connection.

Step 2: Build your scenario

  1. Create a new Scenario in Make.

  2. Choose your trigger — for example:

    • Use Facebook Pages → Watch Posts if you want to automatically share your new page posts to your group.

    • Or use the Scheduler module if you want to post at specific times (like daily or weekly).

Step 3: Add your Facebook Group

  1. Click the + button to add another module.

  2. Choose Facebook Groups → Create a Post.

  3. Pick your Facebook Group and fill in the message or content you want to post.

  4. You can pull text, images, or links from other modules (like Google Sheets or Airtable).

Step 4: Make sure your Page is linked to the Group

This part is important — Facebook only allows posting as a Page to a Group if that Page is an Admin of the Group.
To fix that:

  • Go to your Facebook Group → Settings → Linked Pages → Add your Page as an Admin.

  • After linking, go back to Make and refresh your Facebook connection so it recognizes the change.

Step 5: Test and automate

  1. Run the scenario once manually to make sure it works.

  2. Check your Group to confirm that the post shows up as your Page.

  3. If everything looks good, turn on the Scheduler to keep it running automatically.
