How to Post to Facebook Digital Creator Account & Facebook Group?

Hi Everyone!

I am new to Make (a week in) and loving it so far! I am just finding this community and glad of that! If this has already been answered I apologize and ask that you please tell me how to go about searching for a particular subject in the future so I can do that before asking! I love researching so I don’t mind at all!

My question is how do I go about setting up to post in my Facebook Group and on my Facebook Digital Creator account? I know how to start the flow and how to set up pull from because I have already set up one to post to my Facebook Business Page. It’s working great! I tried using the Facebook Business page and the plain Facebook app to set this up but both tend to connect to my Facebook Business Page and won’t allow me to connect to my Facebook Digital Creator or Group.

I am tech savvy but like an average person, lol! I know nothing about coding and this whole automation is very new to me! I can follow instructions tho and get It done that way!

If you peruse the search results, one of the result is Auto post to Facebook Groups from Facebook Page, which tells you that it is no longer possible to post into Facebook Groups via the API (automation).

Hi!

Thank you for the welcome and telling me where to search for topics!! That helps a lot! I found the post you are talking about discussing it not being possible to automate schedule to Facebook Group as of now!

However, I still haven’t found anything about being able to automate post to Facebook Digital Creator accounts. It’s my personal facebook account with professional mode turned on. I can schedule content from my profile but I want to automate it! Do you by chance know if it’s possible to do this?

Sorry, I’ve not heard of Facebook Digital Creator before, only Groups.

You know how on Facebook when you create an account for yourself. The account where you accept or deny friend request? Just a regular Facebook account! On that account you can click on “turn professional mode on” and then it gives people the option to follow you and you monetize the account! That’s why mine is considered “Digital Creator”.

Looks like you’ll need to know GraphAPI format.

However, according to Graph API Reference v20.0: Post - Documentation - Meta for Developers, it says,

You can’t perform this operation on this endpoint.

So you cannot as Facebook has disallowed automation of user posts.
