How to add variables for SurveySparrow "Share a Survey" module?

Hello all,

My goal is to pass custom variables with a survey in SurveySparrow.

To do that I already tried the “Create Contact” module, however, it doesn’t support custom variables.

Now I decided that I could add custom variables to the “Share a Survey” module, which has an option for “Variables for the Survey”. But when I expand that option nothing shows up even though I have the custom variables created on survey settings in Survey Sparrow.

That being said does anyone have any idea how can I set up custom variables to be sent together with the survey or if that is not possible to create a contact with custom variables?

Welcome to the Make community!

Have you created the variables in your SurveySparrow form? If your form does not have variables, you cannot use this feature.

Hey Sam,

Thanks for your reply.

I created the variables on the SurveySparrow side. However, the option to add them to Make.com still doesn’t appear which confuses me a lot.

For complex technical issues or bugs like this, directly contacting support can often lead to a faster resolution. They have access to your specific account details, scenario and scenario logs, server-side logs, and internal tools and resources, which allows them to investigate more thoroughly than what you have access to. Additionally, sharing sensitive information about your situation might not be suitable for an open forum discussion.

You can open a new ticket, or if you are unable to login for some reason, you also can reach support using the contact form on the website.

If you manage to get your issue resolved with support, we’d still love to hear about it! Sharing your solution on the forum can help others facing similar problems.
