Hey Makers
In today’s fast-paced world, mastering time management is essential for success. However, the challenge is to align all the apps and not drown in the massive amount of tasks and scheduled appointments.
That’s where Katri Manninen, screenwriter, author, and AI and automation coach, steps in with her incredible automated personal assistant.
Katri used ChatGPT and Make to stay above all the fuss and boost her productivity. Her powerful automated system will not only impress you but also help inspire you to tackle your to-do list.
Here are the tools behind Katri’s productivity magic:
Plus Make to tie them all together!
This robust solution is the Superwoman of productivity-focused automation. Let’s dive into the details together!
What problems was Katri trying to solve with her automation?
She needed to find a better way to manage her daily tasks and time organization. Doing this manually was time-consuming and challenging due to personal issues, which included ADHD and memory problems.
Why did the problem exist?
She kept tabs on things like sleep, meditation, mood, focus, energy, weight, email, etc. Trying to maintain her scattered schedule organized and systematic across Airtable, Google Calendar, Gmail, Notion, and Todoist was a tough challenge. That’s why Katri needed to create a whole system that would seamlessly automate all of these apps and activities.
How did she solve the problem? What does her solution look like?
Katri’s solution is a complex system integrating OpenAI Custom GPT named “Assari” (Finnish slang for “Assistant”) with the previously mentioned platforms and apps.
- The core of her system is an Airtable “Time management” database. Imagine this as a centralized hub for tracking data.
- Task management is handled through Todoist.
- Her go-to dashboard for quick reviews and updates is a Notion “Start” page.
- To annotate and comment on scholarly texts, scientific articles, non-fiction books, etc she uses Zotero, Readwise Reader, Snipd.
- Comments are then automatically sent to Notion for review and editing.
- Then she utilizes Assari, Apple Shortcuts, and various API+Make automation to input data into the Airtable base.
Katri mainly uses Assari through an iOS app, which makes it easy for her to just speak out her plans, ideas, or tasks. It is brilliant that it can transcribe what she says and even let her chat with it using audio or voice messages when she requires to.
What did her solution achieve?
This complex system feels like having a real personal assistant taking care of your schedule and to-do list across all of the mentioned platforms. The best part is that it boosted her productivity, minimized errors, and generally improved her well-being.
