I was 42% done with the 2nd course, and I had about 994 credits left. I was pulled away from doing the course, and when I got back to my laptop, Make says I have used up all of my credits for the month! I don't understand why! I didn't do anything!

What are you trying to achieve?

I would like my credits back, since I was called away from one of the courses Make offers. I didn’t have time to close Make and/or my laptop, and it was about 2-3 days before I was finally able to resume the course. But when I went to open the Make Foundation scenario, I got a banner that said, “You’ve used all your credits on the Free plan. Your scenarios will remain paused until your monthly limit resets in 18 days. Don’t want to wait? Upgrade now and enjoy 10,000 credits and 5.0 GB of data transfer starting at only $9.00 per month.”
I really want to get back to the courses but unfortunately, if I am to use the Make Foundation scenario to finish any part of the course. I’d also like to know why it isn’t clear as to how someone does use all their credits, so that I could avoid doing whatever it was that I did to go down to 0. This has actually come at the most inopportune time for me, as I was trying to educate myself with Make so that I could launch a business as soon as possible. So to whomever may be reading this, and has the ability to explain to me what I did, and hopefully give me back my credits, I implore you, Please Please have just a little bit of mercy on me! This is actually the very first thing I could find to do… I don’t know how to directly get in touch with anyone at Make… That would probably be another helpful thing to have posted in clear language, along with a warning on how someone could leave Make open and come back 2-3days later and find all their credits gone…

I had 994 at the time I stopped and had to go. But I had to leave suddenly, so I didn’t have time to close anything or turn off my computer, and I didn’t think anything of it, because I thought I would be back within an hour. Well 3 days later I finally come around to remembering I wanted to finish the course, and so I closed Make and reopened it, signed in, went to “help” then to Make Academy, and found the course 42% done on and started at the beginning of the unit I left in. Well the first thing it says, is “If you have previously built the Make Foundation use case, now would be a great opportunity to revisit it and have a look.” So in a new tab, I looked around to find scenarios, and when I found the Make Foundation scenario, that’s where I saw the big banner saying I have used up all of my credits and if I wanted to get some more credits I would have to wait for 18 days to reup or I can pay $9 for 10,000 credits and 5.0 GB. But, the banner said my scenarios will remain paused until my monthly limit resets in 18 days.

Oh! this means that you left the scenario scheduling on. It used up all the credits because the scheduler was still on when you left.
