Hello
Problem: Try to use the iLovePDF OCRPDF Module with a Document, that has more than apx. 15 pages. The Request takes longer than 40 Seconds and the Operation will fail.
Possible Solution: Extend the Timeout for the iLoveAPI OCRPDF Module or make it customisable.
Note: Please correct me if I’m wrong, but from here I know, that i cannot edit the module myself but would very appreciate, if the creator of the app would consider to integrate this feature.
If there’s any way that I can edit the module please help me getting there
All the best,
Tom
You should use another PDF processing module that does it asynchronously, like
The CloudConvert “Create a Job (advanced)” module —
Creates a job with one or more tasks.
For more information, see https://www.make.com/en/integrations/cloudconvert, and https://www.make.com/en/help/app/cloudconvert in the help centre.
For technical issues like this, directly contacting support can often lead to a faster resolution. Make support has access to your specific account details, scenario and scenario logs, server-side logs, and internal tools and resources, which allows them to investigate more thoroughly than what you have access to.
You can open a new ticket here, or if you are unable to login for some reason, you can create another new free Make account to access the ticketing system (which is only available to logged-in users). After submitting a new ticket, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with the subject “Ticket Created” in the subject. If you do not receive this, try sending the ticket again.
If you manage to get your issue resolved with support, we’d still love to hear about it! Sharing your solution on the forum can help others facing similar problems.
Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

P.S.: Investing some effort into the Make Academy will save you lots of time and frustration using Make.
Thanks for your answer!
Who would be able to change the code of this module to extend the timeout time? I’m aiming for solving this problem rather than to opt for another service.
Make Support will be able to escalate that to their internal development team or app developer.
