After going round in circles for a week with Twilio I’ve got the WhatsApp Business Cloud up and running to send a simple template. However, I really want to send a flow template and gather all the data in one hit.
When I try to run the flow template I get:
RuntimeError
[400] [131008]
(#131008) Required parameter is missing
Please specify a flow button component within template[‘components’]
Origin
WhatsApp Business Cloud
I’ve used up my edits for this 24 hours, can anyone advise? What simple thing am I missing here???
Many thanks.
Steps taken so far
Tested a standard template, that works great.
Been in to the Template in WhatsApp Business Cloud but can’t see what I’m missing.
I’ve scoured Perplexity, Google and YouTube and can’t find anyone with the same problem…
So… I gave up on the flow and now send a simple one message template with WhatsApp and include a link to an AirTable form instead - that kicks off the rest of the automation in Make. Only way I could get it working. Shame, the process would have felt much smoother if it was all in WhatsApp… Anyone had any better luck?
I faced the same issue when trying to launch a flow template via WhatsApp Business Cloud, but after some digging, I managed to resolve it. I’ve written a detailed post on how to fix the RuntimeError 400: 131008 in Make.com. You can check out the step-by-step guide on my blog at Solved error RuntimeError [400] [131008] in make.com for WhatsApp Flow - Daniel Amorós. The solution I provided works 100%, and I hope it helps you all!
