Is there a way to reduce operation numbers for sending out emails to a mailing list with the SendPulse module?

So my issue is, there is a SendPulse module that can send out e-mails with SMTP as an action, but this way all the emails sent out will use up an operation, and with large contact lists it will consume a lot.
There is no Create Campaign Action, just a custom API call option.

I already have Mailing Lists set up, and Campaigns, but I would like to use make, to create content for Campaigns, and trigger them from Make.
Is there any way to reduce operation usage for SendPulse email campaings through Make apart from making a custom API call to create a new campaign?

Welcome to the Make community!

Looks like Sendpulse does support Mailing lists and Campaigns so all you got to do is add the users to a mailing list so that you can use a single operation to “trigger” the sending of the campaign to your mailing list.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

Yes, thank you.

My issue is that I would like to use make to create new campaigns, and trigger these campaigns from make.
Currently from the available actions this is not possible as far as I can see, unless I create a custom API call.

What I understand is that currently I can only do: get the mailing list participants and send the content I want to them through Make with the Send Email or Send Email with Template Action, which will use the SMTP services of SendPulse, and each sent email will consume an operation/mailing list member.

And I’m curious if I’m missing something, or if there will be new Actions added to the SendPulse module later?

I’m sure others would agree that this is a nice feature to have.

You can submit this suggestion to the Idea exchange, under App improvements.

Don’t forget to search for it first, just in case someone already suggested it, so that you don’t end up creating a duplicate.

In the meantime, you can use that universal or HTTP module to Make an API Call to the endpoints. The Make academy has a module on how to do that.
