Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue with a blocked pop-up window while attempting to establish a connection between Webflow and Make on a blank scenario within a fresh Make profile.
-
When the authentication window opens, I can’t interact with any buttons, and upon closing it, I receive a [401] error “Request Not Authorized”.
-
I’ve attempted to use the Webflow module at the beginning of the scenario with two different triggers (see attached screen recording). Notably, I successfully created a scenario last week by connecting Make and Webflow without any issues. When I tried to create a second scenario today and it failed, I decided to start fresh by removing all connections on both ends (the initial Make connection in Webflow and the scenarios + webhook in Make).
-
I’ve also tried testing with an alternative Make account connected to a different Webflow account, but encountered the same issue.
-
I even attempted using a different computer and WiFi connection, but to no avail…
Has anyone encountered this issue or could suggest any solutions?
Please note that I’m completely new to no-code and automation.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Léa
Although it seems Webflow related, as the authentication window is hosted on Webflow’s side.
@InterSkillar, it is wise to contact Webflow about this issue, too.
Cheers,
Henk
Thanks for the following. It seems to be a global issue with webflow, and I already have open a ticket. Let’s see what they can fix now !
Hello everyone @here
This issue has been reported to the development team and is currently being investigated. In the meantime, you should be able to establish the connection using the client ID and secret.
Could you please try creating the connection by following the steps below and let us know how it goes?
-
Go to this URL: https://developers.webflow.com/data/docs/register-an-app>> and click on “create an app”.
-
Fill the following details:
-
After completing these steps, you will receive the client ID and secret in Webflow.
-
In Make, click Add > Enable Show Advanced Settings, then enter the client ID and secret.
For more details, refer to this help doc.
Please give these steps a try, and let us know if you encounter any issues.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’re sorry for any frustration this may have caused.
