I am trying to map a Whatsapp voicenote to Whisper(OpenAI) in order to transcribe it and send on to ChatGPT for an answer.
I can’t seem to figure out where the audio file actually sits within the bundle created by Whatsapp.

You’ll need to use the WhatsApp “Download a Media” module with the media id to download the file data.

The audio files in WhatsApp are typically stored in the “WhatsApp/Media/WhatsApp Voice Notes” directory within the app’s data folder. You may need to access your device’s file system to locate the specific audio file. Once found, you can then use Whisper or another transcription tool to convert the voice note to text and send it to ChatGPT for analysis.
