Subject: Merging and Formatting Excel Tables for Dropbox Upload
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some guidance on how to merge and format two or more Excel tables using Make.com. My goal is to combine the data from these tables into a single formatted file and then upload it to my Dropbox account.
What is the step by step proess you want to use to merge the data in Excel? What is the criteria you are using? What have you built so far in make? How far have you gotten or do you want someone to do the solution for you?
thank you so much for your response. For the last few days i tried my best and used make academy as well. i already build a data structure and linked my dropbox account.
here is what i have build so far.
my issues are:
-no file gets uploaded at the end
-the parse module can’t read my excel table (.cvs)
-i dont know how its tecnically doable, but in order to use the file in the end not only does it need to be correctly formatted, i has to match, in another table, in one of the collumns the name and replace it with a number
Can you show what the dropbox file looks like and how your Parse CSV is configured?
No it’s because your data needs to be fed into the data input on the module. You’re feeding it the filename instead. Make sure the module is properly configured and then check the documentation to ensure you’ve done so properly.
