Mongodb search document results: no output records

i m using mongodb direction connection in dev & production enviroments.
the search operation retrieves empty collection while connection is established and no error recorded.

support: instructing to connect to cloud and via nodejs driver.

here its not the case.
any idea?

not sure why there is no response. maybe use case isnt common.
