My slack webhook connection is not working

I set up the Slack new events module and when I set up the webhook it shows me all the private channels on my account but every time I select the channel I want to watch for triggers, it doesn’t work. When I press run the module and then type in my slack private channel nothing triggers and the module keeps running looking for triggers.

I am having the same issue. It is so frustrating. The Webhook is properly connected but it does not receive the message
