Using Slack Instant Trigger

From what I see on Slack’s api documentation, you need to have OAuth permission scope setup to use Event API. Verify if you have that set up.

Also just curious to know why you don’t want to use ‘Watch Private Channel Messages’ trigger.

Thanks Praneeth, I took a look into this and the trigger isn’t working properly - a few people are having the same issues. I found this tutorial easy to follow and it worked: Slack "New Event" setup. How to check new messages in private channel? - #7 by Benjamin_from_Make

Also the Watch module I find using lot of automation each month when I’m using a lot already.

Hi Chrisratgett, i ahve followed his instructin and it works. now question, do i need to create an app like this for a new scenario? cause that is a different webhook link.
