Need your ideas on how to Play Audio automatically

Hey everyone,

My question is pretty simple. I just need a way to play the text to speech audio file automatically on a speaker or computer or anything. I can use any TTS like ChatGPT or GooglesTTS, it doesn’t matter, but I am stumped on the best approach to get the generated audio file to play automatically at the end of the flow.

My whole project is pretty simple. I receive an alert through a webhook, that alert is converted to a short text summary and then that summary is then (hopefully) read outloud automatically by some means.

I’m open to any ideas or purchases no matter how whacky.

What system is currently making the request to your scenario? Can the Windows PC/computer send that webhook request to your scenario?

Hi Sam! thanks for responding.
It’s a video alert system. So, in more detail, a person is detected on camera, the camera sends the photo to my make.com webhook and then chatgpt processes the image and the other data from the camera and then creates a summary. I’m trying to get that summary read outloud over a speaker automatically. This is more for a proof of concept, so where or how it reads the text outloud doesn’t matter, I just can’t seem to figure out a program or connection to play the generated audio file from a TTS connection automatically.

Perhaps Discord TTS would work?

You can create a new TTS message in a Discord channel and the computer audio will read it aloud.
