Publishing to Printify when connected to Etsy

I’m trying to upload a new product to Printify and then automatically publish that same product so it gets pushed to my Etsy store (which is already connected to Printify). Every time I try to publish the product on Printify using the Make flow I get a blank output and when I go to the Printify website is says “Sorry, we couldn’t publish this product. Please try again later or get in touch with support if the issue reoccurs.”

However, if I open the Printify website, select the product, and then select “Publish” without changing anything about the listing, it successfully publishes.

I’ve tried adjusting all of the settings under the Printify Publish A Product Module, I’ve added a 1-minute pause between creating the product and trying to publish it, and I’ve double checked there are no settings on the Printify side that would block it from publishing. The only thing left I can think of is some silent limitation where Printify will not let you automatically publish a product when it is connected to an Etsy store.

Does anyone have any insights into this problem or how they have solved it in the past?

I believe reaching out to Printify Support about that error message will help you get more clarity and know the next steps to take.

For anyone else running into this problem, I was able to get the solution working with the Printify support folks. It turns out the specific print provider I selected was causing the error to happen. Once I switched to a different provider it started to work just fine.
